The Brief

Undertake a future scoping exercise to imagine how events that we are seeing today will develop in the next 20 years. Design a Product Service System that addresses the problems of the future. 

Our Inspiration

• Water leakage will become an increasingly large problem in the future as water becomes scarcer

• Repairing leaks will become more disruptive as cities grow in size

• A new leak repair method is needed

Skills Developed

• Future Scoping - Looking at signal, drivers, and trends to imagine a future and be able to place our solution within it.

• Literature Review - Look at current research and find technologies that are currently cutting edge but could be developed enough in 20 years for wide use
