Imagine a city you want to live in. As a team of engineering and design consultants, present a design for a product, service, or product-service system that will make a city of your choice safer, more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable in line with the United Nations’ 11th Sustainable Development Goal. You should tackle a problem of your choice from one of the following categories:

Mobility
Demands on Space
As a society, we now recognize the harm that constant phone use does to our minds. As a group, we all wish we could go out and not have to have our phones on us. This is not feasible however, as it is necessary from a logistical and safety perspective. We need to be able to see the tube status and order an Uber or navigate a new part of the city. To be able to do this without phones, we introduced the idea of revamping the London Phone Box as this would be an attraction to tourists who could also use them allowing for greater mobility in cities. A lot of thought was put into how the experience should be. See the video for more info.
Working on short time frames: We only had the weekend to go from not knowing the brief to having a fully fledged project with good accompanying communications. Luckily we were a team of design engineers and so were used to the skills and technologies required to have good output ideas and present them well with a strict deadline.
